Microblading in CT — What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that builds natural-looking eyebrow hair strokes using a hand tool and pigment matched to your existing brows. It lasts 12–18 months, replaces daily pencil/powder, and survives sweat, swimming, and CT beach days. Here's the full first-appointment walkthrough.

Step 1 — Free consultation (15 min)
We map your bone structure, golden-ratio brow shape, and skin tone to match the right pigment. You'll see a full pre-drawn shape on your face and approve it before any blade touches skin. No deposit, no pressure — most guests book the actual session 1–2 weeks out.
Step 2 — The session (2 hours)
Numbing cream is applied for 20 minutes. The artist then uses a microblade to deposit pigment along the pre-drawn pattern in fine hair-stroke lines. Discomfort is minimal — most guests rate it 2–3 out of 10. You'll see slight redness for 24 hours; by day 3, swelling is gone.
Step 3 — Healing (14 days)
Days 1–3: brows look dark and bold — this is normal · Days 4–7: light scabbing, do not pick · Days 8–14: brows lighten 30–40% (this is the 'ghost stage') · Day 30: true color returns and stabilizes · Week 6–8: touch-up appointment included with most packages
Pricing & current promo
Our current intro pricing for microblading is $295 (normally $599) and includes the 6-week touch-up. Pricing changes seasonally — book the consultation now to lock in the rate.
Who shouldn't get microblading
Pregnant or breastfeeding, on Accutane within 12 months, oily skin types (pigment doesn't hold as well — we'll recommend powder brows instead), and anyone with active eczema or psoriasis in the brow area. The consultation always covers eligibility — if you're not a fit, we'll tell you upfront and refund any deposit.
