Sciatic-type pain that runs from the buttock down the back of the leg is very often muscular — a tight piriformis and deep glute group compressing the nerve path rather than the spine itself. Massage cannot diagnose that, but releasing those muscles is frequently what takes the edge off.

Warm first, drain after
Many guests book 30 minutes in the infrared sauna at $45 before their massage so the tissue is already warm — deep work goes further and feels far less intense. Afterwards, 30 minutes in the compression leg booties at $30 helps flush heavy legs.
